Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-06-17T20:24Z ( SOHO: LASCO/C2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
SOHO: LASCO/C2
SOHO: LASCO/C3
GOES: CCOR-1
Activity ID: 2026-06-17T20:24:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S14W98
Active Region Number: 14464
Note Keyword:
OVR: Event partially overlaps with another CME
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
Morphology Keyword:
Note: CME first seen to the WNW in SOHO LASCO C2 starting around 2026-06-17T20:24Z. It is also seen to the WNW in SOHO LASCO C3 and GOES CCOR-1 but is not seen in STEREO A COR2, likely because it is obscured by the occulting disk. This is the third in a series of three CMEs. The source of this CME is most likely a small eruption from beyond the W limb from the vicinity of former AR 14464. Ejecta can be seen in SDO AIA 304 starting around 2026-06-17T19:48Z, and the eruption can be seen in STEREO A EUVI 195 beginning around 2026-06-17T19:55Z.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
